In the year 2020 TaktLwG 31 "B" was the first wing who was assigned in all three roles (fighter / fighter bomber / reconnaisance) to NATO.
For that occasion this very spectacular "paint job" was done.

It shows as basic colour a very dark blue paint together with lightning bolts that should represent the times where reconaisance was made by standard photography and therefore flash lights.
It shows the crest of FBW 31 across the whole fuselage. on the right tail there are the three different configurations in which a Eurofighter flies those three roles together with the dates when that role was assigned to NATO.
